Richard served as a Fort Wort, TX Police Officer from 1978 in many capacities.  He retired in 2014 as the Gang Intelligence Sergeant and now serves as a Reserve Tarrant County Constable in Precinct 4. Richard is a 10th degree black belt Grandmaster in American Karate, 10th degree black belt Grandmaster in Tae-Kwon-do, 10th degree black belt Grandmaster, and the founder of Shizen-Na Karate (The natural way of fighting with empty hands).  Leads a Fight Science Team of medical doctors, registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, engineers, mathematicians and an OSHA Worker’s Compensation Claims Investigator to provide the most effective means of self-protection psychologically and physiologically.

Richard has been inducted in the Karate and Kickboxing Hall of Fame, Karate Masters Hall of Fame, Masters Hall of Fame, USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, the Museum of Sports Karate Hall of Fame, and as one of the World Black Belt’s Living Legends.
